Led by one of our friendly, fully qualified instructors, the group will learn the basics of climbing movement, knot-tying, and safety in a supportive and exciting environment. We focus on building confidence, teamwork, and creating unforgettable memories.
This is a private, bespoke experience for your group only. We'll tailor the challenge to the age and ability of the climbers, ensuring everyone has a fantastic time and experiences the thrill of reaching the top.
Key Details
Duration: 3 Hours (This allows ample time for a welcome, safety briefing, kitting-up, approx. 2-2.5 hours of climbing, and a break for celebration).
Location: A suitable, beginner-friendly crag on Dartmoor (e.g., Haytor, Hound Tor). The exact location will be confirmed upon booking, depending on weather and group needs.
Price:
£195 for a private group of up to 6 children.
£390 for a private group of 7-12 children (requires a second instructor to maintain our strict 1:6 safety ratio).

Our Wet Weather Promise
We are outdoor adventurers and don't mind a bit of 'liquid sunshine'! However, safety and fun are our top priorities. Climbing on wet or slippery rock is not safe or enjoyable for a party.
Your instructor will monitor the forecast closely. If heavy rain or high winds are predicted, they will contact you 24-48 hours before the party to discuss your options. We will always try to find a solution, which typically involves rescheduling your party for a new date at no extra cost.

Important Safety & Insurance Requirement: A Note for Party Organisers
To comply with our insurance policy and ensure the highest level of safety, it is a mandatory requirement that every child attending the party is accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian for the entire 3-hour duration.
This is not a "drop-off" event. The host parents cannot take legal or supervisory responsibility for other children in the group.
Please ensure you communicate this clearly to all parents of invited children before the party.
Any child who arrives without their designated parent or legal guardian will unfortunately not be able to participate in the climbing activities.
We frame this as a positive, shared experience! It creates a fantastic, supportive atmosphere where you can cheer your child on and be part of their adventure.
