Often you might find that our course dates do not work for you or that you’d prefer private instruction for yourself or a group, in such cases you can book personalised days out with a Mountain Training qualified Mountain Leader or a Rock Climbing Development Instructor and Coach. If you are interested in booking a private course, get in touch.
Bespoke Private Outdoor Instruction
Our Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Development Instructor and Coach is available for as little as £280 per day, this includes any equipment required and instruction for a full day. For groups, any of our courses are available or we can design a course around your requirements as long as it fits our ratios below.
Full Day: £280 Half Day: £160 Hourly: £45
Private Course Ratios
General Rock Climbing Activities
Our maximum ratio for top/bottom roping, abseiling and bouldering are 1 instructor to 6 participants. This does not extent to lead climbing.
Due to increased risk management required for lead climbing instruction we do not teach beyond 1 instructor to 2 participants.
Hillwalking & Navigation
Our maximum ratio for HIllwalking, navigation and expedition skill courses are 1 instructor to 8 participants. This does not extent to lead climbing.
