Our climbing coach, James Everett Conrad, holds one of the highest qualification currently available for coaching rock climbing in the UK, the Mountain Training Development Coach qualification. You can book James to develop your climbing over a series of sessions. James can deliver climber centred coaching to individuals or groups on either our public climbing development course below, or on a private basis (See private instruction for group rates).

Jamie can provide indoor climbing coaching at the following climbing walls in South Devon - The Climbing Hangar Plymouth/Exeter for bouldering coaching, and the Quay Climbing Centre Exeter/Plymouth Life Centre and lead climbing coaching (Note: Jamie operates independently from these walls as an external coach - coaching fees do not cover the costs of climbing wall entry). He can also offer outdoor coaching over the period of a half day, full day or two days.

You can book a remote video consultation for climbing development coaching. These consultations can be used as a discussion around your personal climbing performance, or to remotely assess your climbing via video observation to provide feedback and assessment. Your meeting will be with a Mountain Training qualified Development Coach. A qualified Development Coach has an understanding of the coaching process and can coach the skills of climbing at a recognised standard.

All video meetings are conducted with Google Meet using the email address provided with your booking. You need to have the Google Meet app installed on your device and logged in with the same email address used with your booking. The joining link to the video meeting will automatically be sent to you in the meeting confirmation email when scheduling an appointment, and the link will update when appointments are rescheduled or cancelled. We can arrange video calls through other apps if preferred.
