Rock Skills: belaying while top-roping (in progress)

In our latest entry of our Rock Skills series, we are going to look at how we can belay a climber from above using a top-rope system.

Belaying can be tough to learn, especially when learning to belay at the top of a climb.

Learning to belay is best done under the instruction and supervision of an instructor while can back up the braking strand of the rope and iron out any bad practice.
