The weekend intends to assist you to gain abilities and confidence in exploring paths on your own, covered by key running abilities, training, equipment, navigation, planning and safety.

Just the capacity to run on not too steep or rough underfoot paths. There will be a comfortable pace with plenty of possibilities to rest. We will be offering a range of runs; 4 km up to 12 km.


Yes, if you want to get out on paths but aren't sure where to begin, or if you're already exploring trails and want some help getting more skilled. This course is intended either to introduce you to the exploration of new trails or to improve your abilities to more effectively and safely run them.


Our highly experienced and qualified leaders will take the time to understand your individual needs and find the best way to meet them over the course of 2 days. We have a wonderful variety of paths to explore in the local region to help develop expertise and skill..

We will combine trail runs with workshops on nutrition, training, planning, navigation and much more relaxed sessions.

This weekend is intended for individuals who are looking to start trail running or to develop their skill, so we're choosing routes and trails that can deliver a pleasant pace that guarantees an opportunity to learn. This is not a race or a weekend to try and break your records! Likewise, Dartmoor is there to be enjoyed.

Typically, both days will begin with some skill workshops before heading for a run to put them into practice.
